 As the Holy Father proclaimed 2009 – 2010 as the Year for Priests, in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the “dies natalis” of John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests worldwide, the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus is blessed with the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Fr. Dante Frando Quidayan, the first Rogationist priest from Bay, Laguna and the first priest got ordained in St. Augustine Parish after more than 400 years of its establishment. Fr Dante was ordained through the prayers and imposition of the hands of Bishop Leo M. Drona, SDB D.D. Bishop of the Diocese of San Pablo last July 19. This remarkable event was graced with the presence of various Rogationist communities, different religious congregation, members of the Union of Prayer for Vocations, family, relatives, benefactors, and friends of the newly ordained priest.
